Even if you’re not in the video/film industry, you still may be familiar with production (shooting) and post production (editing), but are probably not aware that there is a vital stage before both of these called pre-production. Pre production is the planning stage. It’s where you take your idea and figure out the best way to make it happen. You secure locations, crew, and talent. You schedule shoots and go over all details before you ever walk on set (or location) to shoot. Pre-production done properly will save you time, money, and much aggravation. You may be at the stage where you have done much of this yourself…you have an idea, a script written, and some people you’ve brought on board. In that case we can provide you with one of our producers to advise you and help fill in the gaps. Or maybe you’re not that far yet, you have a great idea but don’t know what to do with it! In that case you’re in the Developmental Stage and will really need to talk with an experienced producer before you start doing any pre-production planning. Contact us with any questions you may have; the first consultation is on us!
Shooting rates can really vary. Many factors go into deciding a fair price for your shoot. Format, the length of the shoot itself, locations, the number of cameras, the crew needed, and the importance of capturing high quality audio. These packages will give you a basic guideline of what we offer.
Like shooting, editing rates can vary. Amount of footage to start with, quality of audio and video captured, length of final video, and graphics/special effects will all effect the total price for editing your video.
Once your project is edited, the next step is to output the content to the correct format. For example, is your video going to be on a website? Is it something that will be broadcast on television? Is it a demo that you would like to hand out on DVD?
*All prices are customizable and are subject to change due to the nature of your project.
